Product Brief
The Decon ABS-80 is a state-of-the-art radiometric density meter designed for continuous, contactless measurement of density and concentration in various industrial processes. Utilizing advanced gamma radiation technology, it delivers precise and reliable density monitoring in real-time without interrupting production flow.
Product
Description
The ABS-80 Online Density Meter employs gamma radiation absorption principles, similar to X-rays, to measure the density of materials passing through a defined measurement path. It accurately detects the average density between the radiation source and detector, enabling exact determination of specific gravity, solid matter concentration, and mixture content without direct contact with the medium.
The device features a rugged design with a sealed radioactive source housed in secure lead shielding and a sensitive scintillation detector system, combined with a sophisticated evaluation unit for real-time digital density output.

Product

Why Choose Our Online Density Meter?
Gamma radiation emitted from a sealed radioactive source passes through the medium to be measured. The radiation intensity decreases proportional to the density of the material encountered. A scintillation detector on the opposite side detects the remaining radiation, converting it into electrical signals.
